Shaws Bay Holiday Park

The most fantastic thing about Shaws Bay Holiday Park is its location and relaxed atmosphere. A 15 minute walk from the mouth of the Richmond River, our park sits with one flank on the banks of that wide and beautiful river and another looking across the calm waters of the Shaws Bay lagoon.

In summer the shallow, safe and warm waters are perfect for swimming and other water sports, such as boating, sailing, jet-skiing, canoeing, kayaking, paddleboarding, windsurfing, snorkelling and even surfing! The river is famous for the way in which it is calm along its sheltered beaches, while develops good size swell out in the middle of its bay-like waters. Rarely a day goes by when at least one of the local surfing schools doesn't take advantage of the unique "long ride" waves that roll up the river. Our powered van sites are located just metres from these waterways and are the perfect place to relax and unwind - or throw in a line. Or for those seeking the finer things in life, our recently renovated 4 star Deluxe cabins are the place to stay! With all this water surrounding the park, fisherpeople of all ages and experience are always happy to stay.
