Lake Tabourie Caravan Park

Just south of Ulladulla, you'll find Lake Tabourie Tourist Park. The park is situated on the foreshores of the magnicificent Lake Tabourie and the local area provides a host of activities to keep you and the kids entertained. Situated between the lake and the beach and close to Pigeon House Mountain, Lake Tabourie offers beachfront cabins and powered sites with sweeping views across to Crampton Island. Paddle your canoe in the calm waters of Lake Tabourie, surf the break on Wairo Beach or throw in a line.

Activities

If you are lucky you'll see whales and dolphins from the beach look-out throughout the year. Birdwatching and walking are popular activities in the area as we are set between the bush and the beach. To the north and south of the Lake entrance are long beaches with high dunes. The largely undisturbed beaches and forest south of the Park are included in Meroo National Park. Lake, beach and island fishing bring recreational fishermen back time and again.

Types of accommodation

Luxury two-bedroom cabins with large decks, private BBQ and beach views. The cabins have a full kitchen and bathroom, aircon, TV with DVD player and all linen is supplied.

Tabourie Deluxe two-bedroom cabins, sleep five or six people, balconies with private BBQ. Fully self-contained and have a spa bath in the bathroom, aircon, TV with DVD and all linen is supplied.

Tabourie Ensuite or Sandpiper cabins are basic self-contained cabins with a double bed and a triple bunk. TV with DVD player and bed linen is supplied however you do need to bring your own bath towels.

Bungalow village sleeps up to 60 people and is used by school, religious and sporting groups. There are 10 bungalows wtih 2 x triple bunks in each, which have access to a camp kitchen and the park amenities.

Camping - eight ensuite sites close to the beach and over 250 caravan and camping sites located in a bushland setting.

How to get here

Located on the Princes Highway 250km south of Sydney and 12km south of Ulladulla. The turn-off is less than 10 minutes south once you've passed through Ulladulla. Just before you go over the Tabourie Lake Bridge, turn left and drive for just over a kilometre into the park, with the lake on your right as you drive down.

Best time to visit

February to April - enjoy the beautiful weather and miss the crowds

You should bring

This is a family friendly park so bring the kids' bikes, skateboards and scooters. don't forget to bring your fishing and beach gear along with your suncreen.

Facilities

There are BBQs throughout the park, along with hot showers and laundries.

Lake Tabourie Caravan Park is pet friendly only during certain times in the off season. Please call the park to confirm if you can bring your pet or not before visiting the park.
