A beautiful oasis located in the heart of Oberon. The closest caravan park to the world's renowned Jenolan Caves and Kanangra walls in the Kanangra-Boyd National Park. A great place to base yourself while you explore the Blue Mountains, Bathurst or participate in some fantastic outdoor activities in Oberon.

Oberon is located on the western side of the Blue Mountains. 1 hour and 45 minutes drive from Penrith or 1/2 hour drive from Bathurst. Our park is located a short five minutes walk from the main street of Oberon.

Activities

Although Jenolan caravan park is located in the centre of the Oberon township, the park has beautiful trees and fantastic birdlife. People come to Oberon to enjoy trout fishing, forest mushrooms, bushwalking, bike riding, horse riding and fossicking in addition to exploring the wonders of the Jenolan Caves, Kanangra Boyd National Park, the Blue Mountains, Zig Zag railway and Bathurst.

Types of accommodation

Jenolan caravan park offers eight two bedroom fully self contained cabins. All cabins have linen supplied to the master bed, reverse cycle air conditioners, kitchen and bathroom facilities. Some cabins have outdoor decks with tables and chairs. All cabins have paved parking areas at their front doors. Linen hire is available for the second bedroom if required. The park also offers 24 powered sites which are all large, grassy and have power, water and sullage points. The Jenolan caravan power sites can accommodate any type of vehicle - several small tents to the largest 5th wheeler. 16 unpowered sites are also available at Jenolan caravan park which are located in a bushier section of the park. The Jenolan caravan park unpowered sites offer visitors a "bush camping" feel whilst having the convenience of modern facilities. A brand new amenities block will be operational from mid-September 2009 and an upgraded BBQ/camp kitchen provides our campers with a communal area to cook and congregate.

Turn right into Ross Street (first street after the Royal Hotel) and follow the blue and white caravan signs. We are located in Cunynghame Street...our driveway is next to the tennis complex.

From Bathurst by car: Follow the Great Western Highway through Kelso and then right onto O'Connell Road (signposted to Oberon). Follow this road for 1/2 hour and you will come into the main street of Oberon.
Turn left into Ross Street (first street after the IGA supermarket) and follow the blue and white caravan signs. We are located in Cunynghame Street. Our driveway is next to the tennis complex.
