Famous for year-round sunny weather, Coffs Coast State Park is perfect for a relaxing summer holiday or warm winter retreat. Coffs Coast State Park boasts beautiful beaches, foreshores, estuaries and wetlands which are perfect for surfing, swimming, diving, fishing and boating. The surrounding area has much to offer, from world heritage rainforests to a marine national park. Apart from Park Beach, there's long stretches of Boambee and Sawtell beaches and there are many bushwalks through the area.

Address: Coffs Coast is situated halfway between Sydney and Brisbane. Coffs Coast State Park stretches from the Bonville Headland in Sawtell through to Park Beach in Coffs Harbour. Nearest regional centre is Coffs Harbour.

Activities

There's the famous pet porpoise pool at Coffs Harbour, or visit the Solitary Islands Marine Park. The city of Coffs Harbour offers great facilities including a large selection of service clubs, restaurants, cinemas and a botanical garden. Other activities include: bird watching, tennis, walking/hiking trail, water skiing, white-water rafting, snorkelling, swimming, mountain biking, horse riding, mountain biking, golf, fishing, cricket, canoeing.

How to get here

Coffs Coast State park is located 10 minutes south of Coffs Harbour on the North Coast of NSW, the Sawtell Park is just off the Pacific Highway and can be reached via Lyons Road or Sawtell Road. Buses to Coffs Harbour city centre and Toormina Shopping Centre stop right outside the park. Visit the park reception for bus timetable information.

Flora and fauna

Visit Bruxner Park Flora Reserve just a few minutes north from Coffs Harbour and follow the easy walking tracks into the subtropical rainforest. Stroll along Coffs Harbour marina to Muttonbird Island Nature reserve.  The Island is a great place to watch the whales and dolphins.
