Bombala Caravan Park

Bombala Caravan Park is right on the banks of the Bombala River and is just a 2 minute stroll to the main street.  A newly constructed walking path along the river gives visitors a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the tranquil beauty of a major waterway and possibly see a family of platypus that lives in the river directly below the park.

Bombala is known as Platypus Country due to the high density of platypus in its rivers and streams and these wonderful creatures make regular appearances and are easily spotted from the river walk. Bombala is surrounded by the South East Forests so there are plenty of opportunities for visitors to enjoy the beauty of tall, mature, eucalypts forests.
During the summer the lavender oil distillery operates on the Railway Park which is opposite the caravan park.

Types of accommodation

The Bombala Caravan Park has both powered and unpowered sites available for caravans and tents, as well as an onsite van.  There is a well appointed amenities block and camp kitchen.
